CATALOGUE READY — SYNTHETIC EVALUATION KIT Prepared for a controlled evaluation. Browser and Shopify execution are PENDING. No real supplier data, import result, customer, order or payment is represented. FILES clean-source.csv: five synthetic simple new products, no images. expected-draft.csv: local engine output; NOT a downloaded-browser or Shopify file. clean-exceptions.csv and clean-lineage.json: matching local engine reports. blocked-source.csv: one price changed to 19,00; the whole draft export is blocked. blocked-exceptions.csv and blocked-lineage.json: failure example; no partial draft. mapping.json: exact column choices. evidence-manifest.json: provenance and hashes. observation-record.json: blank record; every unperformed check starts as pending. SUPPORTED SCOPE One UTF-8 comma-separated CSV, <=10 simple NEW products, <=1,000,000 bytes. Explicit product title, SKU, retail-price mapping; optional handle, vendor, image. Plain nonnegative dot-decimal prices, at most two fractional digits; no rounding. No variants, existing-product updates, XLSX, enrichment, currency or tax decisions. The synthetic kit omits images deliberately; it supplies NO image-import proof. 1. BROWSER EVALUATION Open https://catalogueready.com/workbench.html in your browser. Select clean-source.csv in the workbench. Match mapping.json. Confirm scope. Check and download draft, exceptions and mapping/lineage. Retain the actual files. Reconcile all five source rows, title/SKU/price and vendor with expected-draft.csv. Check leading-zero SKUs, quoted comma/quote text, the accent, generated handles, Status=draft, and Published on online store=false. Verify all five lineage rows. Load blocked-source.csv: one blocked row, zero export, complete exception report. Resolve the source using the supplied clean version, not a guessed price rule. Start another upload while the clean result is still downloadable: downloads must disable immediately. Before that read completes, paste/edit text or choose either synthetic example. The delayed upload must not replace the new source or result. Also rapidly select two files: only the latest selected source may become current. Record browser/version, date, outcomes, all interventions and actual file hashes. A local engine comparison or source review does not complete this browser gate. 2. SHOPIFY DEVELOPMENT-STORE EVALUATION — ACCESS AND IMPORT PERMISSION REQUIRED An authorised evaluator operates their own development store. Catalogue Ready coordinates the evaluation; Cal is not assigned routine importing work. Use a permitted development store, not a live merchant store. Record baseline products and any pre-existing handles cr-000101 through cr-000105. Do not import if those test handles already exist: resolve the controlled setup before testing. Use the ACTUAL browser-downloaded clean CSV from step 1, not expected-draft.csv. Leave Overwrite products with matching handles OFF; deselect Publish new products to all sales channels. Review the preview before the irreversible import action. Verify exactly five new products, exact SKU/title/vendor, numerical prices, draft status, no online-store publication and no changes to baseline products. A successful upload/email alone is insufficient. Record actual product identifiers, values, status, publication state, counts and error messages in the observation. Re-export if useful; Shopify can normalise numeric price formatting, so distinguish numeric equality in the store from exact source-string preservation in our CSV. Missing/mutated records, publication, unexplained differences: FAIL and stop. No production import is authorised by this kit. 3. REAL-FILE CUSTOMER OBSERVATION — CONSENT REQUIRED One relevant agency supplies permissioned product-only data within the scope. The reviewer locates a flagged issue, corrects its source meaning and regenerates a complete draft using the instructions. Record active customer minutes, operator minutes, corrections, every intervention and what happened to unsupported files. Record Cal's routine minutes separately; any dependence on Cal fails owner-light. Permission, completion or an expression of interest is not payment validation. COMMERCIAL STATUS The public evaluation is free, for one CSV of up to 10 simple new products. Paid orders are CLOSED. An isolated Stripe sandbox is used for payment testing; it creates no real payment, revenue, customer order or service commitment. Before paid orders open: real-file/import/browser evidence, measured delivery and support, verified purchase/refund flows, and working order communications. Contact contact@catalogueready.com with feedback or an evaluation result. Do not send client files or personal data in an initial enquiry.
