Privacy notice

Your data, clearly explained.

Who is responsible

Callum Lawrence, trading as Catalogue Ready, is responsible for the personal information used to operate this website and respond to enquiries. Contact contact@catalogueready.com with a privacy question or request.

CSV files in the workbench

The workbench processes CSV contents in your browser. Its application code does not upload those contents, fetch supplied product-image URLs or connect to your Shopify store. Generated downloads are saved through your browser. The workbench does not save your file or mapping for a later visit; closing or reloading the page clears its current working state.

Use product data you are permitted to process. Avoid entering customer details, passwords, payment information or other personal data into the CSV workbench.

Website connections

Opening the website sends technical connection information, such as an IP address and browser/request details, to the hosting infrastructure. Our hosting providers may process this information to deliver and secure the website. We do not add advertising trackers or marketing analytics to the application.

Email enquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address, name if provided, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, handle support and assess any evaluation you request. Please describe your task before sending a supplier file. A file emailed to us is separate from the workbench’s local processing and will be stored in the email system.

We use service providers for website hosting and business operations, including OpenAI/ChatGPT and its hosting infrastructure, and Hostinger for business email. AI-assisted tools may help us review and respond to business enquiries. Provider processing may occur outside the UK under their applicable contractual safeguards.

Why we process information

Our legitimate interests are to operate and secure the website, understand relevant business enquiries and provide support. Where an enquiry asks us to take steps towards a contract, we may also process the information for those requested steps. We do not sell enquiry information or add correspondents to a marketing mailing list merely because they contact us.

How long we retain it

We retain correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer the enquiry, carry out an agreed evaluation or maintain relevant ongoing business records. We consider the purpose, sensitivity and any legal obligations when deciding what to retain. This notice does not promise an automatic deletion schedule. Technical logs and backups are also subject to the hosting and email providers’ retention arrangements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Payments and changes

Paid orders are not currently open. Before introducing a live payment or file-submission service, we will update the relevant information and explain the data needed for that service. Links to other sites, including documentation, are governed by those sites’ own privacy notices.
